European-Middle East-Africa Chapter of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (EMEAC-IFCN)

Call for Bursaries for the 18^th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ECCN), Marseille, May 9^th-12^th, 2023.

The EMEAC-IFCN offers 100 bursaries, €500 each, to help young neurophysiologists attend the ECCN 2023. The bursary should be used to offset conference registration with the remainder to be used for travel and accommodation.

Bursaries will be awarded competitively to candidates under 35 years of age.

Candidates must submit an abstract for the conference and should apply for a bursary by ticking the corresponding box while creating their abstract submitter account.

Bursary winners will be announced March 15^th, 2023 and will be refunded after the event.

EMEAC-IFCN Executive Committee will decide which candidates will be awarded, depending on the abstract merit with some recognition also of the research possibilities in each country. The bursaries will be distributed among the applicants from EMEAC member societies taking into account the gender and the geographical balance. 

Requirements for the reimbursement are;

1. Proof of age
2. Proof of attending ECCN2023 in person
3. Proof of poster or oral presentation at ECCN2023
